Do shoot ‘The Messenger’
In Oren Moverman’s downbeat drama “The Messenger,” Woody Harrelson has more tics than an East Hampton deer.
The film tells the gut-wrenching tale of soldiers, one a wounded combat veteran of the war in Iraq, assigned to the “casualty notification team,” also known as the “angels of death squadron,” those who must deliver bad news to families waiting to hear about loved ones.
