With frost in the air, it’s not too soon to think about summer and listening to music outdoors on balmy evenings in the Berkshires - or so is the message from the Boston Symphony Orchestra, which announced its 2010 Tanglewood schedule today.

The 70th anniversary season begins July 9 with James Levine conducting Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, “Resurrection.”
