BERLIN - German police say a man has shot himself in a courtroom seconds after a judge convicted and sentenced him on six counts of arson.
Police in the southern city of Memmingen say that just after being sentenced to six years and three months in prison the 50-year-old man pulled what looked like a ball point pen from his pocket. It was a single-shot gun that he fired into his head.
