Nissan recalling more than 240,000 trucks

WASHINGTON — Nissan Motor Co. is recalling more than 240,000 trucks in 20 cold weather states to fix a problem that could prevent front air bags from deploying in a crash.
The government said in a posting on its Web site today that the recall affects the Frontier, Pathfinder and Xterra from the 2005-2009 model years.

Japanese cars get recalled.What will our bloggers who think that these cars are perfect do?In 2008 Toyota, BMW & Nissan had more recalls than did Ford, GM or Chrysler.According to the National Insurance Institute Ford makes the safest cars.In June Ford is coming out with a mid-sized hybrid that gets 43mpg.
