Gov. Tim Kaine won’t stop execution

RICHMOND, Va. — Gov. Tim Kaine will not stop the execution of a former Army counterintelligence worker from Maryland who is set to die by electrocution for killing a northern Virginia couple.

Sixty-year-old Larry Bill Elliott is scheduled to be executed at 9 p.m. Tuesday at Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt for the January 2001 shooting deaths of 25-year-old Dana Thrall and 30-year-old Robert Finch.
