FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A man charged with raping and killing a 5-year-old North Carolina girl was expected in court Friday, a day after authorities revealed what they believed happened to her in her final days.

Authorities said Thursday that Shaniya Davis was sexually assaulted and asphyxiated before her body was dumped off a rural road. Mario McNeill is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape of a child, Fayetteville Police Chief Tom Bergamine told reporters at a news conference.

Sorry but a quick death is to good for a moron like this. Some slow torture repeated again and again and again. Now we not only have to watch our own children, that is hard enough, but for all children we have to watch the druggies kids. Some how our value system as a society has degraded considerably. It's not right!

I have to agree about quick death being to easy for him. This guy needs to get extreme pain, delivered extremely slow, over and over, and over....
