Spaceman awaits birth on Earth

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Atlantis’ astronauts anxiously awaited word yesterday on the birth of a crewman’s daughter as they moved supplies into the International Space Station and geared up for a spacewalk.

Astronaut Randolph Bresnik’s wife, Rebecca, was due to give birth in Houston.
