Shape up, fly right

What a useless document that advisory committee on airport delays turned in. The Transportation Department now will go ahead on its own, and it must make sure that its regulations have teeth.

It’s a lead-pipe cinch that some flights again will be kept on runways for hours in bad weather, unable to take off or reach a gate, once travel recovers from the recession.
