For drug treatment
Thursday, November 20, 2008 -
Nothing succeeds like success (“Lower rate of drug overse deaths in Mass.,” Nov. 12). One must hope that those who formulate (and fund) policies continue to expand services so that “treatment on demand” for drug problems becomes a reality that can be publicized in the news media, on public transportation, in all emergency rooms, etc. What could have higher priority than building on a system clearly demonstrated to save lives?
