Let tracks survive

Wall Street gets a $700 billion bailout and now the auto makers want $25 billion to $50 billion, and we foot the bill.

Well the four racetracks in Massachusetts are also trying to survive, and they’re not asking for money - just approval to add slots. What would it cost us taxpayers? Nothing (“Tapping those gamblers,” Nov. 18)!
