Any fair examination of CPCS spending could only conclude that the Committee for Public Counsel Services is “operationally sound,” and that its public funding is reasonably expended.

Recently my agency has been accused of wasting “big money on hot-shot lawyers to defend accused murderers,” while prosecutors struggle on “mere pennies.”
