On his 10-day trip to Asia and in his 10th month in office, Barack Obama is beginning to encounter limits on his ambition to change the world. Even as he bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia last April and to the emperor of Japan last week, the world refuses to bow back.
This is not how it was supposed to be.

I think the right question is more like how many Americans have died to extricate France in WW1, WW2 and Vietnam. Then there's the millions of people who berate us yet come crawling to us when they're attacked and come here for the 31'st ranked health care they can't get with their 3rd ranked health care system. I'm sorry we came to your defense in your time of need, we won't let it happen again
Seems like people think Barack is failing--but he has been fantastically successful in the implementation of *his* agenda: break our country so badly that we're all beholden to the state. This isn't conspiracy theory land... Take a look at what has happened: economy tanks, yet the government grows. The deficit rises more dramatically in 1 year than in the previous decade, yet the government grows. Pretty soon, the government will control your healthcare, and the mission is near complete. At that point, government spending will be more than 50% of the GDP. Goodbye freedom, hello Socialism.
