A lover’s quarrel turned bloody Sunday night for one man, who told police his partner hit him with a 2-by-4 in a drunken rage, police report.

Police said the victim had been arguing with his partner of more than 10 years when the latter allegedly became violent and hit him in the head with the wooden plank.
