The economy is so bad even the Dollar Store is being robbed.

Police report a Dorchester duo were arrested Thursday for shoplifting a random assortment of items from a Dollar Store in Cleary Square. Iesha Davis and Tanisha Gadson, both of Dorchester, reportedly stuffed their purses with roughly $50 worth of mousetraps, a shower curtain, candy, bath soap and dishwashing liquid, according to a police report. They face larceny charges.
