Disabled ask lawmakers to prevent deeper cuts

Groups representing disabled residents in Massachusetts are urging state lawmakers to give Gov. Deval Patrick expanded budget-cutting authority.

The Association of Developmental Disability Providers and the ARC sent a letter today to House and Senate members saying they have faced "dramatic cuts" in state funding during five rounds of budget reductions the past year.
