The endorsement is a coup for the Somerville Democrat, trailing front-runner Martha Coakley, with two weeks to go.

Gee, this makes perfect sense, the wife of an unpopular governor, unable to move above 35% in the polls, endorses a candidate for Senate that can't break above 16%. Deval has played this cute from the get-go. Notice how his key people were with Cappy from the start? So how does Deval have any credibility left with this move? How about taking another look at Deval's commitment to ethics and government reform. Anyone with eyes in their head knows that strong-arm, thuggish Mayor Mike believes in neither. As the Globe piece on Cappy said last week: "He's no reformer." Deval, a lot of us really did believe in you in 2006. Now this proves how wrong we were. Deval, you (and it is you, not your wife) just lost thousands of votes from those of us you couldn't afford to lose. 'stick a fork in both the Capuano and Patrick campaigns, they're both done.

There is one of the best reasons NOT to vote for Capuano. Geeze, why don't you get pee wee dukakis(sp) to endorse you too. Might as well go out with a bang

Who will the Winter Hill Gang from Somerville, MA endorse? My money is on Milk Carton Mike, they worked well together when he was mayor.

Wow ! an endorsement from the wife of the Governor who has been rendered useless. That makes her twice as useless.

now if only we can get Dufus Patrick himself to endorse Capuano. that would be the final nail in Capuano's coffin.
