Liaison’s computer locked down

City vows cooperation with fed drug probe

City officials have put the computer and files of an alleged drug-pushing Menino administration operative under lock and key as federal officials continue their probe into an East Boston narcotics ring.

The feds haven’t subpoenaed any city property used by John M. Forbes - Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s East Boston liaison - but city attorneys have secured his computer and other resources, a City Hall source said.
