Dad charged in shaking baby

A Haverhill man accused of severely shaking his crying 3-month-old daughter is being held without bail as the girl struggles in “very serious” condition, authorities said.

Ivan Rosario, 18, of Haverhill, allegedly shook his crying daughter Sunday in the apartment he shares with the baby’s mother, according to Steve O’Connell, spokesman for Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett.
