In a final call home, Army Sgt. Benjamin Sherman told his sister to tell everyone he loved them, “because I don’t know if I’ll get that chance again.”

Sadly, his fears proved true.

Not enough prayers nor thanks in all this world to adequately thank you for your service to the people of this country. Thank you. May your family find some comfort in their good memories of you and in the knowledge of what kind of amazing heart and courage you displayed.
