The centennial matchup between Maine and Northeastern resulted in a milestone calamity for the Huskies, who were drubbed, 6-2, in front of 4,085 fans last night at Matthews Arena.

Maine (4-5-0, 3-2-0 Hockey East) connected twice on six power-play chances and added a shorthanded marker. Freshman center Matt Mangene had three assists while junior Robby Dee and freshman Adam Shemansky had a goal and assist each for the Black Bears.
