Shedding tears no way for Rex Ryan to break down Patriots
Crying game rings hollow
Late Sunday night Bill Belichick felt like crying. Monday morning Rex Ryan did.
That’s the difference between having three Super Bowl rings and having none. Belichick’s chuckle-headed decision to go for it on fourth-and-2 at his 28-yard line with 2:08 to play contributed mightily to a bitter 35-34 loss to the undefeated Indianapolis Colts but he could live with it. He could even stand firm a day later, insisting he’d done “what gave my team the best chance to win.”

So Ron, presumably Bill's two rings earned as defensive coordinator for the Giants don't count, right? You specifically noted the idea of "having three Super Bowl rings." Is the Herald having any kind of job fair or anything like that coming up soon? Can we register for it on-line?
i was on indy star site and a colt fan who was sitting on or around 30 yard line said that was a bad spot and colts were lucky to win game...the 31 yd PI was horrible...it seems shady to me...i would even root for the stealers over colts, of course their last 2 SB wins were slanted too, esp the seahawk game...i dont remember us getting any breaks like that lately...i dont count the tuck rule game, that made up for 76 raider game...the NFL wants goob and the saints in SB, done deal...they love the mannings
Borges,You Really are a Joke. You ASSUME that Belichick has lost Confidence in his defense and You ASSUME that they've lost confidence in themselves. Every time the Media ASSUMES they know more about the team than they actually do, The Team Always Proves you Wrong. Remember what Happened when ESPN's Tom Jackson said that the Team "Hated" their Coach for Releasing Lawyer Milloy? The Pats are the best at Dealing with adversity and not letting things like this linger to the point where it effects their play. That's Something you might actually write about if your whole agenda wasn't just to trash Belichick every chance you get.
i think we have a decent defense who got tired sunday nite...the saints game will be the same, it will be hot in there too ugh...how come tully was on special teams sunday?...he is our best pass rusher and he got injured playing ST...i love BB, but it wasnt his best moment
CambSection8 well put. I don't always agree with Borges, and he goes overboard sometimes, but there's nothing more boring in the sports world than pompom waiving reporting. EEI in the afternoon is the worst. They try harder to impress their guests then they do to entertain fans. You tune in and wait to hear coach Belichick, then 66 % of the time they have with the coach is the blowhards asking questions. They drone on and on trying to impress the coach with how smart they are. It's so blatant I get uncomfortable listening. People slam Borges for what? Having an opinion? Please; I'd rather hear someone digging in than sucking up any day of the week.
Sorry, but the post that was in this spot has been removed as it did not follow our guidelines.
