FOXBORO - Perhaps if Adalius Thomas had known what humble pie really tasted like, he wouldn’t have so vigorously advocated for its consumption back in 2007.

The Patriots [team stats] linebacker has gone from teacher’s pet to disgruntled employee in fewer than three seasons. Now, Thomas’ relationship with coach Bill Belichick is the subject of debate, as he’s learning how humble it makes one to be sent home for being late to an 8 a.m. meeting, as was the case Wednesday.
