Nashawtuc Champions Tour event nixed

The Champions Tour’s longest-running 54-hole tournament, the Bank of America Championship at Concord’s Nashawtuc Country Club, is likely out of business next year for lack of the $3 million title sponsorship needed to maintain it.

Bank of America dropped sponsorship of the 28-year-old event last June and tournament director Tracy West has been unable to sign a replacement.
