Half of Hollywood turned out for the inauguration of President Obama, but Tinseltown lefty Matt Damon thinks it shouldn’t be up to celebrities to carry the political load.

“I should try to be a good citizen of this country and the world, but I wish it wasn’t down to actors to get on CNN and shine a light,” said Matt, who was in town last night at the John F. Kennedy Library to discuss the troubles in Haiti.
